Dating is. . . .

Dating is absolutely a hard thing to do nowadays. Everyone thinks they're entitled to do whatever they want to do in a relationship like they are single. To me, if you're going to be acting up by cheating and saying such things as "I need my own space", then DON'T GET INVOVLED with someone in the first place!!!!! It's a waste of time to you and your partner. Different people have their different aspects on how a relationship is supposed to be. ME personally, I go for the traditionally monogamous relationship....although it wasn't always that way; but hey, ya gotta grow up and get serious about things one day right? I was in a relationship previuosly.....actually three: one for one year and two months, another on and off with someone I really love, and a recent one that only lasted a few hours. The first....was all good and everything, we just had distance between us and he was demanding so I had to cut him loose since I wasn't really in love with him anymore. The second, was with the love of my life who I recently broke up with because he was cheating (REALLY BAD...can't go into detail), but I will say that we would've been engaged had he not done so. He still does but I don't think so. The third and final relationship was THE SHORTEST relationship I'd EVER had in my entire life! It was only a couple of hours to a friend of mine. He couldn't really make up his mind on what he wanted to do. I realize now that he was still going through relationship problems, as well I, so we decided to take it slow as friends to see what happens in the future. Yup, dating is a serious game. Game I say, because you have to know how to play or you will seriously get played; no lie. Every one has come across that person who they thought was THE ONE but

Vacations

The most recent vacation I went on was to Australia. It was so great!!! I went with a group that I am now an alumni of which is People to People Student Ambassadors. There were about 32 of us from different places around Florence including two from Texas; including the teacher leaders, there were 36. Out of the 32 student delegates, there was only one who had been there before. The rest of us were just fledglings. The trip lasted from July 4th to July 22nd (half of us had to wait until the 23rd because of delay). I've been to every state in mainland Australia. I didn't think I would make friends but I did which I still keep in touch with on Myspace. Even though I had a really nice time over in Australia, I didn't try to feign my true feelings about wanting to go home all day EVERY day! Some people didn't like the way I was being so guileless about it but I really didn't care. I really started my episodes when we got to the Northern Territory. If you didn't know, it's the state that has the large rock formations out in the desert. The earth is red sand that I highly recommend not wearing new shoes, especially if they're white, because THEY WILL get ruined and turn reddish pink. I absolutely HATED the Northern Territory with all the rock climbing and walking for miles and carrying our heavy backpacks in the heat! We were all bundled up in our coats and hats but because of the exercise, we had to take off some articles of clothing. That was the most absolute INSIPID part of my experience because all we did was hike up humungous rock formations, was forced to take pictures of Uluru every 5 seconds to see the color change, and kick around in red dirt all day! Let me inform you that our summer is their winter, so we had to do this in the FREEZING cold! One night on our Bush Camp experience, we had to sleep in "swags" which is basically a mattress, bed sheets, sleeping bag and pillow all zipped up into one big bag on the ground. We ALL slept with thermals, 2 pairs of socks, coats, hats, gloves, whatever we had to keep ourselves warm during the night we slept outside on the red earth. Although, there was one laudable and unforgettable part about being outside in the Outback and that is the night sky. I remember how it was so beautiful and so clear. You could see the Milky Way and all the constellations. You would have to be there to witness it with your own two eyes to realize what I am talking about. Another plus to being in Australia was the peccadillious, ambrosial chocolate treats that are Tim Tams! They are sort of like a chocolate cookie filled with nougat that is a delicious sensation in your mouth and come in assorted flavors. Sadly, I did not bring any of these delectable treats back to the States with me, although I wish I had. My new friend Brandon brought back a plethora of tim tams with him because he loves chocolate so much. Being in Australia was ineffable. I cannot explain how much I actually enjoyed the country now that I am no longer there. During my stay, I was so intransigent on coming home and I made everyone know it all day, every single day. I was floundering with the decision of whether or not to kiss the floor of the airport and roll around on it, but I decided against it. LOL The absolute HAPPIEST time was when I came around the corner of the airport and saw my granny! I ran to her and broke down and cried in front of everyone and didn't care who saw!!! I was just happy to be home!

Two Schools I've Attended

<---C. E. MURRAY HIGH SCHOOL!!!

In my high school days, I attended two different schools, in two different towns, for two separate school years. The first of which is my home school and the one that I graduated from with my class of 2007, C. E. Murray High School; home of the Mighty War Eagles, located in Greeleyville, SC. The second is Kingstree Senior High where the mascot is a Jaguar located in Kingstree, SC; which is also where I currently reside. I first came to C. E. Murray during the 2002-2003 school year, which was when I was in eigth grade. I later left during the 2004-2005 school year to attend Kingstree Senior High my sophomore year. These two schools are total rivals which contributes to why they are so different from each other. With no more than a 35 minute drive away from each other, (depending on who's driving) it is clear to see why alumni and current students are so true to their school pride both on and off the field. Not to mention the academics. CEM students are more academically challenged than KSH students; which is a known fact. Moreover, CEM is THE BEST just as DJ Khaled says! Hands down and this is the barefaced truth! KSH kids....I'm being audacious with this statement but WE ARE THE BEST!!! Always have been and always will be, get over it clowns!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

HW pg. 40 (HOBBY/PASTIME)

Greetings To All! My first and most favorite hobby is SURFING THE WEB!!! There are all kinds of cool things to do: Shop, Chat, Email, the WORKS!!! The most used website of mines is MySpace: anybody wanna check me out? (www.myspace.com/dis_girl_thick_up) CAUTION!!!! I WILL NOT add you if I DO NOT know you. Now back to what I was saying. Another one of my favorite past times, my all time favorite is reading a good book! Mostly I read urban romance novels....yea the good stuff.....I also like to write. I write poems and I am currently in the process of writing a book. What's the Title???? I can't tell you! HA!! Just wait until it's finished and check out the new book from Amber Fulton.

Most people can't stand their families and I admit they are a pain but so far as my favorite pastimes go, I like to chill and cut up with my family and friends. My little brother, Jeremy, and I are so close. We laugh and joke at all kinds of crazy things and we make up all kinds of secret things that no one else will EVER know about....heehee....My friends are another matter. My two best friends are Brittany and Justin aka JB. Best Pals Till The End of Time!!!! Those guys are my brother and sister and are the TRUE definition of a BEST FRIEND. I love them to death.
Last, but most certainly not least, my ALL TIME FAVORITE pastime is.....TALKING ON THE PHONE!!!! Mostly I talk to my friends and my boyfriend but HEY who else would I talk to right?

HW pg. 40 (COLLEGE)

The college of my dreams since eigth grade has always been South Carolina State University. WHY u ask? SIMPLE!!! SCSU is the greatest college ever in my opinion. Ever since I took a field trip with my Educational Talent Search (ETS) group in junior high, I have been completely hooked on bulldog country. This year MY college has ranked among the Top 10 National Universities for the second consectutive year in a row. That says a lot about the school itself! If you're wondering what number it placed.....it was 1o! Some of you may be thinking.. "Well that's BARELY making the cut!" and to those people I say "WHO CARES!!! YOUR WHACK SCHOOL CAN NOT EVER COMPETE WITH SCSU AND WIN!!!" LOL!!! South Carolina State University is one of the best HBCUs (Historical Black Colleges and Universities) in this country in my opinion and I LOVE IT!!! WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY??? If it's SO GREAT as I say, then why am I not there now in OB (Orangeburg) living the lavish life that I portray???......It all dwindles down to one cause.....MY MOTHER!!!!!! If you can talk her into letting me go back, I will present you with the GRAND PRIZE of the satisfaction that you've just helped me fulfill my dreams......and by you contributing your time, you will be BLESSED all the days of your life.......hehe
check out South Carolina State University!
